Entry Level - Digital Design Specialist

As an entry-level digital designer at Mighty & True, you'll specialize in creating, editing and producing final digital designs that drive business results for our clients. From designing visually stunning digital ads that capture the attention of our clients' target audiences to creating wireframes and landing pages that lead to higher conversion rates, you'll ensure that every piece of content is optimized for maximum impact. In addition, you will work closely with our content specialists to design web content that is intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing. Whether it's digital content design or crafting compelling digital advertising and landing pages, you'll be dedicated to designing and creating exceptional work that meets our clients' unique needs and exceeds their expectations.

Job Outline

All roles at Mighty & True come with position agreements that detail what each role is accountable and the strategic and tactical work that is involved in the job. Below is a summary of the work for which this position is accountable.
‍Strategic Work
  1. Collaborates with Creative Director and other designers to create content in line with overall client strategy
  2. Develops wireframe and UX strategy for clients 
  3. Analyze and track market trends to inform their design strategy
  4. Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives
  5. Analyzes user research and client guidance to inform content decisions
  6. Learns and designs within brand guidelines for clients
Tactical Work
  1. Design digital ads for social media platforms and digital advertising platforms. This includes both static and animated ads. 
  2. Design marketing content in digital (pdf, slides, docs) and physical (direct mail, event marketing) platforms
  3. Design wireframes for websites and landing pages and finalizes designs including all imagery, animations and page interactions designed in Figma. 
  4. Create visual assets such as icons and illustrations for web content
  5. Collaborate with content specialists to ensure content is optimized for web
  6. Packages up all final content for client deliverables in company standard formats

Qualifications

Following are guidelines on qualifications and nice-to-haves. We're really looking for people that live our values, are easy to get along with and are willing to help us make M&T better every day.
Qualifications:
  • 1 years for experience as a designer and/or design education and training
  • Experience in Canva, Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Interest in building communications to B2B audiences
  • Solid design portfolio (personal or professional)
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and bring clarity amidst ambiguity
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience designing for animation
  • Hand drawing / illustration skills
  • Experience in UX / UI development
  • integrated Marketing, Digital Advertising / Media experience
