Account Director

Mighty & True is a creative technology agency that combines design, tech and business strategy to help companies create new experiences for their customers and the world. As part of our continued effort to innovate in our space, Mighty & True is seeking a talented and energetic Account Director to help us manage client relationships and lead new projects that push the limits of creative tech. This individual will help us manage and grow our immersive and digital discipline while being part of a core staff of client management professionals that will be building new and innovative experiences and products, some of which have yet to be seen. So, what are we looking for? Our Account Director is an outgoing client advocate. You’ll look to continuously develop and maintain positive client relationships by getting to know your clients inside and out, understanding their business objectives and goals, and sometimes just being an open ear. You’re their right-arm - an extension of their team - and help them strategize and develop solutions that align with their needs. Your success is driven by your clients success - and you not only love making clients happy but you want to see them improve, succeed and be 100% satisfied with the primary outcome of the programs we develop at Mighty & True.

About the job


  • Manage day-to-day strategic client relationship
  • Own the relationship with your clients – set the tone and expectations with the client, and fully understand the core drivers and dynamics of the client’s business
  • Nurture client relationships though direct, ongoing engagement and proactively thinks beyond the assignment to continually push the account further each and every time
  • Key leader in kicking-off all new projects with client including leading intake meetings/processes with client and spearheading brief development for projects and campaigns
  • Work directly with clients to plan out campaigns that meet customer objectives
  • Ensure all projects are delivered as promised, on time, within agreed budgets and meet all strategic goals of the program
  • Guides projects with account teams, and is involved in the kick-off meetings and internal reviews and manage and oversees all team project execution
  • Develop program strategies and communicate and lead those strategies to our internal groups
  • Promoting programs and processes that help drive communications to the right segments using the right messaging and context
  • Briefing and liaising with Mighty & True’s cross-functional teams especially with the Account Supervisor & Project Manager(s) who reports directly to you
  • Establish and maintaining processes both internally within Mighty & True and externally with clients
  • Work with Director, Client Accounts to oversee budgets and costs for clients, ensuring clients are fully informed at all stages, including providing estimates and scopes of work based on client projects and requests
  • Set up, manage and report on meetings with clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Directly supervise an Account Supervisor and/or Project Manager(s) as well as be responsible day-to-day personnel management, and reviews
Who we're looking for


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related degrees and/or proven experience managing high-profile marketing, creative technology, experiential or innovation programs
  • 8+ years experience in a similar role with agency experience
  • Solid management skills, both people and projects
  • Experience managing a team and delegation
  • Immersive technology industry experience a plus but not required
  • Good financial awareness and skills
  • First class communication skills, written and verbal
  • Demonstrable and effective time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Energetic, friendly and self-motivated attitude
