We’re looking for someone who enjoys diving into the media buying weeds. The perfect junior media buyer for MT will enjoy executing data driven media and integrated channel programs using your keep ability to identify and reach target audiences wherever they are online. You love managing, testing, creating and optimizing all things media.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as in-house expert on various ad platforms like MediaMath, Rollworks, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google and more -- knowing them in and out 
  • Work with accounts and larger performance/digital team members to understand client strategy and goals and ensure media implementations align
  • Partner with internal and client technical teams to ensure that media campaigns take full advantage of the technology available as well as consider any clients’ tech stack limitations
  • Implement media strategy within ad platforms
  • Monitor campaigns on a daily basis and optimize integrated media campaigns to increase the client’s brand awareness, drive leads and help them achieve revenue success
  • Identify target audiences and understand their behavior and habits
  • Lead any analysis and optimization required on campaigns according to the client’s goals and objectives including any compilation of reports
  • Allocate budgets and monitor costs of each campaign relative to client goals and restrictions
  • Evaluate the success of media strategies and campaigns and recommend any improvements required to meet the clients goals

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (1-3 years programmatic and/or social media experience). Mass Media, Communications, Advertising, or Marketing degree preferred. Prior experience in Marketing, Advertising, and Sales is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DSPs (The TradeDesk, MediaMath, Simplifi, etc.), social media and other ad serving technologies a plus
  • Able to deliver against multiple simultaneous tasks with excellence
  • Broad knowledge of media channels and options
  • Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
  • Working knowledge of analytical tools used in media planning and buying
  • Strong Analytical capabilities
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to deadlines, new assignments and situations quickly
  • The drive to excel in a deadline-driven environment, problem-solve, think strategically and manage multiple priorities
  • A knack for research with exceptional proofreading skills
  • A proven track record of working collaboratively while taking ownership of delegated projects
  • B2B and agency experience a plus, but not required
  • Resourceful self-starter
