You may have seen the shorter version of this Upwork ad on TV, but the long form version is the best. We love how this ad challenges traditional work norms, symbolized by zombie bosses, spontaneous singing, making it a standout in tech marketing. Fun and well done, Upwork. Check it out here!

🍪 Google:  The end of the cookie has finally begun

Per Google:  "On January 4, we’ll begin testing Tracking Protection, a new feature that limits cross-site tracking by restricting website access to third-party cookies by default." They are now rolling this change out to 1% (or about 30 million people as a key milestone in their Privacy Sandbox initiative to phase out third-party cookies for everyone in the second half of 2024. Get your tracking plan ready, folks.

🙄 Buying cycles might be over before you notice them

Drawing on a survey of over 900 participants in B2B transactions exceeding $10,000 annually, the insightful report by our friends at 6Sense reveals that 83% of buyers initiate contact with vendors, often when they are already 70% through their buying journey. This eMarketer study caught our eye in that it has several examples of B2B brands using TikTok included. With a huge audience of 87.3 million US adults spending around 55 minutes daily on the app, it's definitely an appealing prospect to consider for brands... but is it right for B2B?
